“I absolutely loved living in Applecross. There’s a village vibe in this friendly neighbourhood. I chose Kintail Road as it was on the All Saints College bus run never thinking it would become such a huge part of my family life. My daughter grew up living in a neighbourhood with her school friends, walked to her first job at IGA Canning Bridge, hung out with her friends at McDonalds. We would both walk along the riverside to Heathcote and on Australia Day watch the fireworks from the lawns overlooking the South of Perth Yacht Club. The girls and I would walk down to the Raffles on a Friday afternoons to hang out with other locals enjoying the sunset over the river and on the weekends, I would shop in the village at the Good Grocer and local bakery whilst enjoying fresh takeaway coffee along the way. Unit 5 became my first home office, and the views inspired my work! Curtin Uni, Central TAFE and Notre Dame have direct bus routes and Fiona Stanley, Murdoch Hospital and Royal Perth have made this location very accessible for the tenants that have also lived here.
