“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself”
– Abraham Lincoln
Our team is able to provide our clients with a wealth of property management experience. Our point of difference is that we provide each of our owners with a personalised service and unlike other agencies we have a very low staff turnover.
The Property Exchange provides its staff with excellent working conditions which offers a work life/balance which means everyone here is highly motivated, positive and maintains the highest level of customer service. Everyone works together to take care of paperwork, maintenance, managing tenants and keeping up with legislation so our clients can have freedom and peace of mind, at the same time maximizing their rental income.
We like to take a team approach to managing our clients properties, if for instance your usual property manager is away, there is always one of our experienced team to step in at a moment’s notice. We take the marketing of our rental properties very seriously. We understand that the current rental market is competitive and we have the market knowledge to ensure your property stands out from the rest. Our presentation is second to none, and we only accept maintained properties.
To find out more about the service we provide, please feel free to contact our office on 6380 2200 to arrange an appointment.

We would just like to say thank you for all your help over the last two years. We have loved living here and hope you find suitable tenants from November. In the future we will most likely be looking for a rental company to rent our own property out and will definitely keep The Property Exchange in mind. You and your colleagues were always so easy and fair to deal with so thank you for that.
Kimberlee as a property manager has exceeded all expectations. As a first time lessor with no knowledge of the industry, she was more than happy to answer all of my questions and put me at ease that my investment was in good hands. She has been thorough, efficient and professional, with good communication skills and happy to make suggestions. I was referred to Kimberlee as I also purchased a property via TPE with Ingrid and Jade, who were also 5 stars and just as thorough and professional, with a caring touch. I have felt like all TPE staff have been "on my team" with my investment and I would happily recommend them to anybody.
Kimberlee is an excellent Property Manager who is very responsive and diligent in relation to managing our property.
I have no hesitation in recommending The Property Exchange, very professional and friendly team. Our Property Manager was Melanie Hobday, one of the most professional, caring, responsive and fair agents, wonderful person. Thank you Melanie, we really appreciate your hard work and assistance.
As a renter, I highly recommend The Property Exchange - they are professional, approachable and responsive. They go above and beyond for their renters, which is greatly appreciated. I particularly recommend Kaylee Ferguson - she is very experienced, hardworking and caring. I am grateful to have Kaylee as my property manager and would very highly recommend! Thanks so much to you!
Thank you for securing our new tenant - for the avoidance of doubt, I want you to know that we are very happy with your work and professionalism; and we think you are doing an excellent job for us!
Thank you Sarah and thank you for all of your hard work. It has been a pleasure – everything has always gone so smoothly even though I am on the other side of the world! I will of course think of you for anything in the future and happily recommend you to people that I know.
Kaylee Ferguson is an outstanding property manager. I am always impressed by her commitment in providing thorough and professional service whether it be an inspection, organizing maintenance and follow up, looking after tenants and owners alike to foster good relationships - her attention to detail...happy to recommend her in every way as a property manager!

Melanie stumbled into real estate in 2006 when she started as a Business Development Manager in the Western Suburbs of Perth, where she gained a great understanding of what owners are looking for in their property manager. Values of communication, transparency and being proactive are the qualities that Melanie learnt and strives to give to her clients on a day to day basis.
In 2008 Melanie decided she should get a deeper understanding of property management and its nuances if she was going to give potential clients a real insight as to why it is so important to choose a rental agency that will deliver on its promises and why do things in property management just seem to go wrong.
With Melanie’s down to earth and forthright personality property management is where her strengths lay. Since 2008 Melanie has had experience of managing properties across much of Perth which has given her a very broad and thorough education in dealing with many interesting aspects of property management.
Melanie is a member of the Melville Hockey Club, enjoys spending time with her family and fur baby and when the sun is out you will find her enjoying Perth’s coastal lifestyle, where she can work on her tan.
Kimberlee like many others stumbled upon Property Management through her sister when she asked to work at her company in 2009 in New Zealand. Here she discovered her passion of not just managing properties but people management and the importance of building repour with clients.
In 2011 Kimberlee made the plunge across the Tasman ditch and continued her love of real estate and the challenges that it brings.
Kimberlee strives to rise to a challenge. Her fastidious nature and high attention to detail to reach perfection ensures her clients properties are managed as if they were her own.
She enjoys that there is never a dull moment in property management and that there is always something new to learn in a situation that she hasn’t encountered before.
When you meet Kimberlee you will discover her great sense of humour and quick wit. These attributes help in diffusing a high tension situation or just releasing the stress with her colleagues.
Kimberlee in her spare time is committed and passionate to Crossfit, which reflects her commitment and day to day challenges property management brings. Not only does she use Crossfit as an outlet for exercise but also competes and has won numerous medals, trophies and protein powders in solo and team competitions.
After five years working in the hospitality industry, Sarah decided to pursue a career in real estate in 2014, and she hasn’t looked back since. Beginning her career as a real estate receptionist, her customer service skills and ability to think on her feet impressed her employers so much so that they offered her a property management role after only nine months.
As a Subi local, Sarah always had a fascination with the charming heritage homes in the area and she is excited to now be working at The Property Exchange where she gets to deal with them on a daily basis.
Not only does she enjoy the fast-paced environment and the fact there is never a dull moment in property management, Sarah understands the fact that every situation is unique and loves putting her head down and using her problem solving skills to work out the best solution for everyone.
Sarah is a massive animal lover and is always finding new places around Perth for her and her partner to walk their greyhound, Ned. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys keeping active at the gym, relaxing at the beach, or catching up with friends and family.
I spent my first 14 years in England, where I watched my parents renovate houses and sell them on. Seeing their passion for property growing up, I knew I wanted a career path that associated with residential property. From there I worked in retail for 7 years in a variety of stores mostly employed as store managers – this gave me a solid customer service background and ability to handle any situation thrown at me with composure.
In 2017 I started my career in Real Estate where I jumped straight into the role as a Junior Property Manager. Since taking this path I have taken every opportunity to educate myself further in all aspects of property management whenever possible. I always strive for high quality results to the best of my ability in all aspects of life, inside and outside of work.
I love that no day in property management is ever the same and it consistently keeps you on your toes. You never know what the day is going to bring or what new thing you’re going to learn.
My weekends are spent on road trips and camping along the coastline. In my other spare moments I spend quality time with my partner and our dogs or enjoying a good glass of red.
I began my Property Management career in Geraldton 2016 where I have lived since I was born. Starting on reception I made my way up the ladder and was promoted to an Assistant Property Manager, and not long after became a Property Manager. After completing year 12, I wasn’t sure where my life and career were going to head and given the opportunity to work at reception gave me a taste for property management and the career found me. I enjoy that every day is different in property management and the learning never stops. When I have a new challenge I put my head down and get stuck into it, I really enjoy the satisfaction of getting a great outcome for all parties involved. Being a country girl has given me a thick skin and I call a spade a spade in the most diplomatic way.
In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my partner and dogs, and going to the beach is a must! Growing up in Geraldton and coming from a fishing /cray fishing family back ground it is safe to say being in or on the ocean is second to none. I love dhufish and do like a bit of cray fish, but are happy to share them with the team here at The Property Exchange.
