“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself”
– Abraham Lincoln
Our team is able to provide our clients with a wealth of property management experience. Our point of difference is that we provide each of our owners with a personalised service and unlike other agencies we have a very low staff turnover.
The Property Exchange provides its staff with excellent working conditions which offers a work life/balance which means everyone here is highly motivated, positive and maintains the highest level of customer service. Everyone works together to take care of paperwork, maintenance, managing tenants and keeping up with legislation so our clients can have freedom and peace of mind, at the same time maximizing their rental income.
We like to take a team approach to managing our clients properties, if for instance your usual property manager is away, there is always one of our experienced team to step in at a moment’s notice. We take the marketing of our rental properties very seriously. We understand that the current rental market is competitive and we have the market knowledge to ensure your property stands out from the rest. Our presentation is second to none, and we only accept maintained properties.
To find out more about the service we provide, please feel free to contact our office on 6380 2200 to arrange an appointment.
Starting in the real estate industry in 2006, Kaylee’s passion for Property Management is second to none. It is with this passion, her extensive understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act, natural leadership skills and personable manner that makes her a great Department Manager. Having worked her way up and through the ranks, touching on all facets of the role and receiving a number of awards and accolades she has a wealth of knowledge to share with her team and clients.
It is the fast paced and unpredictable nature of property management that Kaylee thrives on. Always one to get stuck into a sticky situation, she loves using her problem solving skills to the benefit of all parties – not every problem has the same solution!
Kaylee’s ethos is that Real Estate is a people business and that every person deserves the same attention and respect – owner, tenant or otherwise! Building strong and real relationships with her clients and team is paramount to successful transactions and business alike. Integrity is Kaylee’s number one value – this means that honesty and transparency is what you will get when dealing with her.
From a family of sporting fans Kaylee is a passionate AFL supporter and keeps fit through training at her local boxing gym. Kaylee is a big family person, spending a lot of her time at family gatherings and catching up with friends for some wining and dining. When she is in need of some down time there is nothing better than curling up and getting lost in a good book.
Melanie stumbled into real estate in 2006 when she started as a Business Development Manager in the Western Suburbs of Perth, where she gained a great understanding of what owners are looking for in their property manager. Values of communication, transparency and being proactive are the qualities that Melanie learnt and strives to give to her clients on a day to day basis.
In 2008 Melanie decided she should get a deeper understanding of property management and its nuances if she was going to give potential clients a real insight as to why it is so important to choose a rental agency that will deliver on its promises and why do things in property management just seem to go wrong.
With Melanie’s down to earth and forthright personality property management is where her strengths lay. Since 2008 Melanie has had experience of managing properties across much of Perth which has given her a very broad and thorough education in dealing with many interesting aspects of property management.
Melanie is a member of the Melville Hockey Club, enjoys spending time with her family and fur baby and when the sun is out you will find her enjoying Perth’s coastal lifestyle, where she can work on her tan.
Kimberlee like many others stumbled upon Property Management through her sister when she asked to work at her company in 2009 in New Zealand. Here she discovered her passion of not just managing properties but people management and the importance of building repour with clients.
In 2011 Kimberlee made the plunge across the Tasman ditch and continued her love of real estate and the challenges that it brings.
Kimberlee strives to rise to a challenge. Her fastidious nature and high attention to detail to reach perfection ensures her clients properties are managed as if they were her own.
She enjoys that there is never a dull moment in property management and that there is always something new to learn in a situation that she hasn’t encountered before.
When you meet Kimberlee you will discover her great sense of humour and quick wit. These attributes help in diffusing a high tension situation or just releasing the stress with her colleagues.
Kimberlee in her spare time is committed and passionate to Crossfit, which reflects her commitment and day to day challenges property management brings. After five years working in the hospitality industry, Sarah decided to pursue a career in real estate in 2014, and she hasn’t looked back since. Beginning her career as a real estate receptionist, her customer service skills and ability to think on her feet impressed her employers so much so that they offered her a property management role after only nine months.
As a Subi local, Sarah always had a fascination with the charming heritage homes in the area and she is excited to now be working at The Property Exchange where she gets to deal with them on a daily basis.
Not only does she enjoy the fast-paced environment and the fact there is never a dull moment in property management, Sarah understands the fact that every situation is unique and loves putting her head down and using her problem solving skills to work out the best solution for everyone.
Sarah is a massive animal lover and is always finding new places around Perth for her and her partner to walk their greyhound, Ned. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys keeping active at the gym, relaxing at the beach, or catching up with friends and family.
I began my Property Management career in Geraldton 2016 where I have lived since I was born. Starting on reception I made my way up the ladder and was promoted to an Assistant Property Manager, and not long after became a Property Manager. After completing year 12, I wasn’t sure where my life and career were going to head and given the opportunity to work at reception gave me a taste for property management and the career found me. I enjoy that every day is different in property management and the learning never stops. When I have a new challenge I put my head down and get stuck into it, I really enjoy the satisfaction of getting a great outcome for all parties involved. Being a country girl has given me a thick skin and I call a spade a spade in the most diplomatic way.
In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my partner and dogs, and going to the beach is a must! Growing up in Geraldton and coming from a fishing /cray fishing family back ground it is safe to say being in or on the ocean is second to none. I love dhufish and do like a bit of cray fish, but are happy to share them with the team here at The Property Exchange.
Originally from Ireland, Monica moved to the UK in 1979 where she worked in finance/banking until she gave birth to her beautiful daughter. She relocated to Australia in 1987, and loved Perth from the moment she arrived!
Monica began working in real estate with her husband Dave as his Sales Assistant. The office purchased a rent roll in 1995, and so began Monica’s Property Management career! Her Property Management experience now encompasses residential and commercial Property Management, as well as Trust Accounting.
Monica loves the variety and challenges that every day in Property Management brings. Monica is very excited to be working with The Property Exchange team.
Being Irish, Monica loves to sing and has been a member of the Camelot Chorale in Mosman Park since it began 11 years ago. Monica also enjoys playing badminton and the odd round of golf, and is deeply involved in Golden Oldies rugby as social secretary of her local club – she has co-written and produced two shows which were performed by club members.
Her other favourite pastime is enjoying long lunches with good wine in the Swan Valley (which inevitably leads to the singing mentioned above!).
