I first joined The Property Exchange as Office Manager/Receptionist when the doors first opened in Rokeby Road back in August 1997. With little to no experience in Administration and IT, I had to work hard to adapt to this new role I found myself in.  I had to develop many policies and procedures for this new real estate business and I am proud to say that they have stood the test of time and many are still the basis of the company’s systems today.

I continued with The Property Exchange as Office Manager until 2008 when I had the opportunity to try another industry in a public company – contract mining. I found many similarities in contract mining and real estate – in both fields you offer a service, build long term trusting relationships and ultimately create mutual benefits for both parties.

In 2010 Niki asked if I had had enough of mining and was ready to come back to the real estate fold – the answer, of course, was yes! Stepping away from the real estate industry and working in a public company gave me a new perspective on business.  Where structure underpins the business and all vested parties can work towards the common goals.   I want the team at The Property Exchange to work with enthusiasm and integrity and every person that we meet understands this from the outset.

In 2019 I completed my Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) and then 2020 I became Licensee of The Property Exchange and in July became a partner and director, alongside Niki. Clare and Kaylee.  The four of us make a formidable team where we can each support each other in our individual roles but also complement each other for our differences.


Karina Saxby

Marketing Manager

After graduating from Curtin University completing my Honours Degree in Marketing & Management, my first marketing job was for a brand marketing company promoting luxurious homewares and healthcare. However, I had an urge to see more of the world and travel, having Dutch parents, I am fortunate enough to own a Dutch passport, therefore, I put together a plan to travel to Europe and work in the UK.

My plan was to work in London for 6 months to give it a go, however, it was only after 7 years I decided to come home to Perth. During my time in London, I developed a passion for property marketing. I worked for London property developers delivering innovative, award-winning, and multi-channel campaigns. This allowed me to gain significant experience in developing international marketing strategies that deliver added value.

What I love about marketing is delivering great results from innovative campaigns that have had hard work and thought put into them. I love that marketing is dynamic and no two days are the same. I believe it is so important to pay close attention to the customer journey ensuring each touchpoint delivers purpose and value.

What initially attracted me to The Property Exchange was the style, that they are unique and bold. When I first met the directors they radiated confidence, strength and genuine characters that appealed to me.

I like to keep active, in my spare time by playing netball and doing yoga. I try to run when I can, although I don’t love it, I do, however, like a challenge, I ran the London Marathon with my husband which was an amazing experience. I am really excited to re-discover Perth as it has changed a lot and I cannot wait to fall in love with it again.


Vanessa Goh

Design Manager

I was born in Australia, grew up in Malaysia and returned to Perth in 2005 to complete my degree. I fell in love with Perth and never wanted to leave

In 2015 after a year with The Property Exchange being their Marketing Coordinator my husband and I returned to KL, whereupon I started my own design business.  I was lucky enough to keep The Property Exchange as one of my clients and started building my business.

I love design – the creative direction, the colours, layouts and typography – there is so much beauty. I measure my success on improvement of company sales and exposure through creative marketing solutions.

In 2020 I returned to Perth and I am looking forward to having a closer hands on relationship once again with The Property Exchange.


Brittany Nation

Office Assistant

Growing up surrounded by family members in the property industry, I was destined to find my place in real estate, the passion and devotion my amazing mother holds has always been something I’ve looked up to.

Prior to joining The Property Exchange Team, I had a strong customer service background whilst studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Public Relations and Events Management. This truly formed my interpersonal skills and where I discovered my love for helping people and working with them to achieve goals.

I landed myself in The Property Exchange office after much consideration. To exceed in the field of real estate, I have seen first-hand the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm that goes into it. Knowing this, I am ready to start my real estate journey, I am up for the challenge and going to put my heart and soul into this career.

Every day I am learning the ropes and excited to continue growing and learning. I believe my experience in customer service has given me a solid foundation to achieve not just good, but great results! I am looking forward to my future at The Property Exchange and all the growth it will bring!

Living NOR and coming from a family that loves the coast, you can find me enjoying the beautiful coastline of Perth as much as I can, immersing myself in new travel experiences (fun fact: I lived abroad in London for my gap year), and enjoying time with my family and friends!
