Our team is able to provide our clients with a wealth of property management experience. Our point of difference is that we provide each of our owners with a personalised service and unlike other agencies we have a very low staff turnover.
The Property Exchange provides its staff with excellent working conditions which offers a work life/balance which means everyone here is highly motivated, positive and maintains the highest level of customer service. Everyone works together to take care of paperwork, maintenance, managing tenants and keeping up with legislation so our clients can have freedom and peace of mind, at the same time maximizing their rental income.
We like to take a team approach to managing our clients properties, if for instance your usual property manager is away, there is always one of our experienced team to step in at a moment’s notice. We take the marketing of our rental properties very seriously. We understand that the current rental market is competitive and we have the market knowledge to ensure your property stands out from the rest. Our presentation is second to none, and we only accept high-quality properties.

I started in the real estate industry in 2006 and found a passion for property management that is second to none. I truly believe that when you are interested in your career learning becomes a hobby rather than a chore, so I have always looked at ways to upskill myself so I could move forward in my chosen career. With my interest and extra training I worked my way up and through the ranks, touching on all facets of property management and received a number of awards and accolades along the way.
I joined The Property Exchange in 2017 as the Head of Property Management – I think as a leader of a team you need to lead the team from the front, have time for your team when they need you and be exceptionally knowledgeable in all areas of property management. Property management is fast paced and unpredictable, something I thrive on and I love using my natural problem-solving skills when there is a problem out of the box. Thought my career, one thing that always seems to repeats itself – not every problem has the same solution!
My ethos is that real estate is a people business and that every person deserves the same attention and respect – owner, tenant or otherwise! Building strong and authentic relationships with my clients and team is paramount to successful transactions and business alike. Integrity is my number one value – this means that honesty and transparency is what you will get when dealing with me.
In 2020 I had the opportunity to become a shareholder in The Property Exchange, an opportunity I am honoured to have been given. TPE is known for being a brand that does things a little bit different to others in the market, harnessing & embracing change and new technologies and most importantly it’s family culture. All of this filters through to the exceptional customer service experience our clients receive. It’s these things I am passionate about continuing on within the business and excited to build on alongside Niki, Julia and Clare.
From a family of sporting fans, I am a passionate AFL supporter (Go the Tigers!) and keep fit through training at Total Movement in Subiaco – check them out, tell Faye & Tony I sent you! My family & friends mean the world to me, so you’ll most likely find me at a family gathering or catching up with friends for some wining and dining on the weekends. When I need some down time there is nothing better than curling up and getting lost in a good book.
I started my career in real estate back in 2001 and gained a thorough understanding of all aspects of the industry, placing me at the forefront of property management services in Western Australia.
As The Property Exchange Business Development Manager, I hold the specialist role of handling all new business enquiries. With my many years of experience in property management I can give our clients expert advice on minimising risk and maximising return on their invest properties and offer guidance on tenant selection, current rental rates and the state of the market. I have also built a network and regularly liaise with national and international companies as well as relocation agencies in respect to executive leasing clients. So, when you meet me you know you are dealing with a professional that has extensive expertise in property management.
The best piece of advice I can give investment property owners is your property is an investment and you will often need to take the emotion or attachment out of it and make good business decisions. What you put into your property, you’ll generally get back, whether it be in rental return or an amazing long-term tenant. By entrusting a great property management team, who will communicate and listen to your needs, you will be ensured to keep your investment well maintained and well managed, without over capitalising.
Back in 2006 I stumbled into real estate as a Business Development Manager in the Western Suburbs of Perth, where I gained a great understanding of what owners are looking for in their property manager. Values of communication, transparency and being proactive are the qualities that I have learnt and strive to give to my clients on a day to day basis.
In 2008 I decided I should get a deeper understanding of property management and its nuances as I wanted to be able to walk the walk not just talk the talk to potential clients as to why it is so important to choose a rental agency that will deliver on its promises and understand why do things in property management sometimes just go wrong. Since this decision I have had experience of managing properties across much of Perth which has given me a very broad and thorough education in dealing with many interesting aspects of property management. Now I can definitely walk the walk and talk the talk and pride myself on strong and trustworthy client relationships.
I am a member of the Melville Hockey Club and appreciate spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy the Perth’s coastal lifestyle and getting out in the sun and working on my tan.
Like so many others in real estate I stumbled upon property management through my sister when she asked me to work at her company in 2009 in New Zealand. I discovered P.M. not only stands for Property Management but also represents People Management. This excited me as I love working with people and building repour with clients.
In 2011 I made the plunge across the Tasman ditch and continued my love of real estate and the challenges that it brings. I love to rise to a challenge. I have a fastidious nature and high attention to detail as I want to manage my client’s properties as if they were my own. I thoroughly enjoy that there is never a dull moment in property management and that there is always something new to learn in a situation that you have never encountered before.
I love to laugh and am told I have a great sense of humour and quick wit, which often helps in diffusing a high-tension situation or just releasing the stress with my colleagues.
In my spare time I am a committed and passionate Crossfitter, which reflects my day to day commitment to challenges in property management. Not only do I use Crossfit as an outlet for exercise, but I also compete in solo and team competitions.
After five years working in the hospitality industry where I gained the customer service skills and ability to think on my feet, I decided to pursue a career in real estate. In 2014 I made the move and haven’t looked back since. I began my career as a real estate receptionist and within nine months I was offered my own property management portfolio within the company.
Growing up in Subi, I have always had a fascination with the charming heritage homes in the area and I am excited to be working at The Property Exchange where I get to deal with them on a daily basis. I thrive being in the fast-paced environment and love that there is never a dull moment in property management. I understand every situation is unique and I love putting my head down and using my problem-solving skills to work out the best solution for everyone.
I am a massive animal lover and I am always looking for new places around Perth for my partner and I to walk our greyhounds, Ned and Pippa. On weekends you’ll find me catching up with friends and family over a glass of red, road tripping down south or up north, or at the beach – sometimes all at the same time!
I spent my first 14 years in England, where I watched my parents renovate houses and sell them on. Seeing their passion for property growing up, I knew I wanted a career path that associated with residential property. From there I worked in retail for 7 years in a variety of stores mostly employed as store managers – this gave me a solid customer service background and ability to handle any situation thrown at me with composure.
In 2017 I started my career in Real Estate where I jumped straight into the role as a Junior Property Manager. Since taking this path I have taken every opportunity to educate myself further in all aspects of property management whenever possible. I always strive for high quality results to the best of my ability in all aspects of life, inside and outside of work.
I love that no day in property management is ever the same and it consistently keeps you on your toes. You never know what the day is going to bring or what new thing you’re going to learn.
My weekends are spent on road trips and camping along the coastline. In my other spare moments I spend quality time with my partner and our dogs or enjoying a good glass of red.
I began my Property Management career in Geraldton 2016 where I have lived since I was born. Starting on reception I made my way up the ladder and was promoted to an Assistant Property Manager, and not long after became a Property Manager. After completing year 12, I wasn’t sure where my life and career were going to head and given the opportunity to work at reception gave me a taste for property management and the career found me. I enjoy that every day is different in property management and the learning never stops. When I have a new challenge, I put my head down and get stuck into it, I really enjoy the satisfaction of getting a great outcome for all parties involved. Being a country girl has given me a thick skin and I call a spade a spade in the most diplomatic way.
In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my partner and dogs and going to the beach is a must! Growing up in Geraldton and coming from a fishing /cray fishing family background it is safe to say being in or on the ocean is second to none. I love dhufish and do like a bit of cray fish but are happy to share them with the team here at The Property Exchange.
To be sure to be sure, yes, I am originally from Ireland and moved to the UK in 1979. I started working in finance/banking until I had my beautiful daughter. The three of us relocated to Australia in 1987, and loved Perth from the moment we arrived!
I began working in real estate with my husband Dave as his Sales Assistant. The office purchased a rent roll in 1995, and so began my property management career! My property management experience now encompasses residential and commercial property management, as well as trust accounting.
The variety and challenges that every day in property management brings give me a pep in my step each day and as well as working alongside The Property Exchange team.
Being Irish, of course I love to sing and are a member of the Perth Irish Choir. I am a member of a bowls club – more for the social side! My other favourite pastimes is enjoying long lunches with good wine in the Swan Valley (which inevitably leads to the singing mentioned above!) or reading a good book.
