Quite frankly, the early years were tough, forging a solid reputation in the highly competitive inner city market was a lengthy process and a lot of long hours! Having started my real estate career in post GFC when the property market was struggling, it was actually a blessing in disguise as by necessity of survival I built myself a solid skillset in the areas of marketing and negotiation… and just like a good bottle of red, it’s something that’s got better with age!
If you were to ask me what my primary motivation is in real estate was I’d say without hesitation “it’s the thrill of the deal”.

I would like to thank Kyron Bone for the professional and efficient manner that he negotiated and handled the recent sale of my property. I originally purchased the house during the property boom early 2014 and was worried that I may not be able to achieve a sale price that matched or bettered the amount that I had paid. I spoke with a number of realtors and had them visit the property in order to see what they would charge and how much they thought they could sell my house for. Kyron was well-presented, business-like and listened closely to my goals and priorities for the sale. He continued with this level of performance throughout the whole sale process and advised me on a number of ways that I could present and prepare my house for sale. Kyron assisted me in understanding how to best think of the selling method and as a result of taking his advice the property was under offer in 5 days with only one opening required. He personally managed the marketing campaign (e.g. photography, website, paper drops and signage) with a high level of attention to detail and I believe this made the first part of the process so successful. After the offer was accepted a number of problems occurred before a final agreement was reached. The buyer's building inspection came back with a number of seemingly serious building code issues that had not come up in the 2014 building inspection. Kyron negotiated between myself and the buyer in a respectful and measured approach, he organised a number of quotes for each of these items and re-negotiated between the buyer and I in order to achieve an outcome that made everyone happy. I was able to recover more than the original price that I paid for the property two years earlier and despite it seeming like the whole sale was going to fail after the building inspection came back with so many issues, it was Kyron's consistently calm demeanour and quick response to solve each problem that resulted in the property settling only 7 weeks after I signed the original selling agent agreement.
