Quick and easy sale! Niki and Chelsea were fabulous, their knowledge of the local market and buyers along with the fantastic staging of the house enabled a quick sale at a great price.
Excellent service! I have found Niki and all The Property Exchange personnel to be both friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in helping me find the right property for my requirements. I can thoroughly recommend Niki and the team.
I first met Niki I was impressed with her sales approach and knowledge of the market.
Initially I was somewhat reluctant to spec up the property with painting and furniture, however once I saw the effect I felt very confident that it was the right thing to do, and that also gave the property its best shot at a sale.
I was very comfortable organisation skills of both Niki and all other members of the property exchange staff who are easy to communicate with and also accessible without any hassles. I was only available at the weekends we spent most of the organisational aspects were left to Property Exchange.
I would not hesitate to recommend Niki, The Property Exchange, and all the staff.
Great agent, honest and reliable! Niki and her staff facilitated the purchase of my new home in Subiaco. Always available and upfront with information and the movement on closing. I pushed for a closing much sooner than originally stipulated and throughout the process Niki and her staff did everything they could to make it a quick and seamless transaction.
I was most impressed with Nikki and her team through the whole process of listing, marketing plan, furniture rental, home opens and execution ... and would have no hesitation recommending The Property Exchange to anyone wanting to sell a property in the Subiaco area.
Great agent, prompt friendly service and I felt that our interest was important. We had very good service. Our interests were looked after and we felt very comfortable doing the deal. Thanks for the good service and we will use you again.
Friendly, honest, reliable and highly recommended! After ten years working overseas, we were looking at coming home and settling down in Perth. We were not able to actually fly back to see the property due to work commitments so we had to buy from what we could see from the property market online. For us, communication was key to making the purchase of our home a stress free experience. Communication with Chelsea Peinke and the office was prompt and clear. Chelsea went out of her way to help us beyond what I would have normally expected. The team also helped recommend several numbers to contact in relation to building & pest inspections as well as details of the settlements agents in Perth area. This was a great help as we can't move in immediately. She has helped us conduct the inspections prior to settlement date, organised a gardener for us and even checked with the neighbour to hold onto our mail. Chelsea is professional, friendly and very accommodating. Thank you Chelsea and team at The Property Exchange for making our life much easier.
Very ethical and helpful! Niki and Chelsea were both very helpful, diligent and professional in our dealings with them. They were very ethical and honest, communicated promptly and were both great to deal with.
Great outcome! It's not easy to pick a right agent. We decided on Niki for her consistency....her recommendations on how to present never changed. She knew what was needed and insisted on it. She was also open to our views and sensitive to our needs and fears. We are glad we chose her, listened to her and achieved an outcome beyond expectations. Thank you Niki.
Very knowledgeable and helpful! Niki's knowledge of the Subiaco area was very helpful in guiding us to find the house that best suited our needs, as well as being a good investment.
Niki started out her working life as a psychologist with Mental Health Services after attaining a Bachelor of Psychology at UWA. (She now find this particularly useful when selling homes!)
In 1978 she moved to South Africa for 6 years and got into a career in Public Relations within the hospitality industry, working for the Southern Sun group of hotels Holiday Inns and a very upmarket private Hotel named The Vineyard.
In 1984 she returned to Perth and attained a position as Public Relations Manager of the Merlin Hotel (now The Hyatt) she then 2 years later opened her own version of The Hard Rock Café in Hay Street, Subiaco, which was a resounding success and used to still be humming until the kitchen closed at 3 am in the morning! She ran this until it was bought by Matilda Bay Brewing Company and renamed The Oriel.
In 1988 she started her career in Real Estate in Subiaco and then in 1997 opened The Property Exchange . Twenty years later, “ TPE “as it is fondly known, is still going strong, and has to be one of the most fun places to work anywhere. The work hard, play hard mentality creates a great atmosphere and much humour along the way.
Niki lives in the same house in Claremont that she bought in 1985 with her partner John, but has been thoroughly renovated and extended since then.
Outside of Real Estate Niki is passionate about collecting old cars, anything retro, singing and playing the guitar, her pet parrot Banjo, entertaining friends and travelling the world.
Chelsea has watched her mum, Niki, build the Subiaco real estate business from just a dream to the brilliant success it is today. After years at the company working as a receptionist, sales assistant and marketing coordinator, Chelsea was drawn to the excitement of real estate sales. She completed her real estate Sales Representative Registration and joined her mum in selling Subiaco, Shenton Park and surrounding areas.
Chelsea bought her first property in 2009 which is managed by The Property Exchange.
Outside of work, she loves the beach, Pilates, reading a great book, enjoying good food and sipping on a nice glass of wine…but never all at once!
Originally from the heart of New Zealand’s wine-growing region, Chelsea has spent the last decade specialising in Australasian property and real estate administration. Her experience and communication skills ensure optimal service. Chelsea thrives on the daily challenges and successes that come with such a fast-paced and vibrant industry, and is passionate about delivering the best results for The Property Exchange’s clients. In her spare time, you can find Chelsea on the somewhere along the coast line soaking up as much salt air, sunshine and sand as possible, cooking up a storm in her kitchen or exploring the wonders of WA.
