Impressive negotiation! A difficult market, so, even more important to engage the right agent.
Highly recommend this terrific team! Niki, Chelsea and their team provided a very professional service which achieved a speedy sale for us. They gave us an enormous amount of expert help to present our apartment in it's best light and were always cheerful and engaged with us. We highly recommend The Property Exchange and would not hesitate to use them again.
Niki is a very responsive agent who keeps the lines of communication open. She was very fair during the negotiations and didn't apply pressure in our deliberations. We were happy in our dealings with her.
Highly recommended!! Great advice. Realistic pricing. Fabulous helpful styling which really showed our property to its best advantage. Both Niki and Chelsea were delightful to work with, polite, encouraging and professional.
A pleasure to work with! Whilst investigating the market to purchase in Subiaco, we regularly met Nikki at other properties prior to our purchase. Niki and her team's follow up, qualification of requirements and communication was excellent. One other thing that really impressed us was that the presentation of her properties were outstanding allowing you as a purchaser to really see how the property should be used. If you are looking for property in Subiaco, I would encourage you to speak early to Nikki and the team and whilst I have not sold property with Nikki, should the need arise, I would have no hesitation to engage her and the team at The Property Exchange.
Thank you Niki and Chelsea for your work in selling our apartment in Subiaco. You were friendly, professional and meticulous in keeping us informed about the details of the process. You promoted the apartment well and we valued you expertise regarding presentation and pricing. You made the task of selling the property whilst we were living interstate much easier than we thought it might have been. Your professional demeanour at all times and your attention to detail were particularly appreciated. Thank you again.
Selling our property using The Property Exchange was a good experience. The staff at The Property Exchange went above what I was expecting during the sales process by adding furnishings and wall coverings during home opens, always in phone contact soon after, always responding promptly to any questions and always in a good manner plus with good ideas on how to market to sell. I would highly recommend Niki Peinke as a sales person.
Great service, detailed planning, excellent communication, very responsive and efficient, nothing too much trouble. Overall a very well managed process.
Professional efficient agents! Niki, Chelsea and Chelsea provided us with excellent service when we were selling our apartment. We appreciated their honesty, efficiency, market knowledge and professional approach at all times. They advised us on the presentation of our apartment and negotiated well for us. They made the process of selling our apartment so much easier than we had thought it might have been as we live interstate. It was a pleasure dealing with the hard working members of The Property Exchange.
Smooth process! The purchase of the property was made so easy and straight forward. Communication was prompt and clear, and requests were always accommodated. Thank you.
Niki started out her working life as a psychologist with Mental Health Services after attaining a Bachelor of Psychology at UWA. (She now find this particularly useful when selling homes!)
In 1978 she moved to South Africa for 6 years and got into a career in Public Relations within the hospitality industry, working for the Southern Sun group of hotels Holiday Inns and a very upmarket private Hotel named The Vineyard.
In 1984 she returned to Perth and attained a position as Public Relations Manager of the Merlin Hotel (now The Hyatt) she then 2 years later opened her own version of The Hard Rock Café in Hay Street, Subiaco, which was a resounding success and used to still be humming until the kitchen closed at 3 am in the morning! She ran this until it was bought by Matilda Bay Brewing Company and renamed The Oriel.
In 1988 she started her career in Real Estate in Subiaco and then in 1997 opened The Property Exchange . Twenty years later, “ TPE “as it is fondly known, is still going strong, and has to be one of the most fun places to work anywhere. The work hard, play hard mentality creates a great atmosphere and much humour along the way.
Niki lives in the same house in Claremont that she bought in 1985 with her partner John, but has been thoroughly renovated and extended since then.
Outside of Real Estate Niki is passionate about collecting old cars, anything retro, singing and playing the guitar, her pet parrot Banjo, entertaining friends and travelling the world.
Chelsea has watched her mum, Niki, build the Subiaco real estate business from just a dream to the brilliant success it is today. After years at the company working as a receptionist, sales assistant and marketing coordinator, Chelsea was drawn to the excitement of real estate sales. She completed her real estate Sales Representative Registration and joined her mum in selling Subiaco, Shenton Park and surrounding areas.
Chelsea bought her first property in 2009 which is managed by The Property Exchange.
Outside of work, she loves the beach, Pilates, reading a great book, enjoying good food and sipping on a nice glass of wine…but never all at once!
Originally from the heart of New Zealand’s wine-growing region, Chelsea has spent the last decade specialising in Australasian property and real estate administration. Her experience and communication skills ensure optimal service. Chelsea thrives on the daily challenges and successes that come with such a fast-paced and vibrant industry, and is passionate about delivering the best results for The Property Exchange’s clients. In her spare time, you can find Chelsea on the somewhere along the coast line soaking up as much salt air, sunshine and sand as possible, cooking up a storm in her kitchen or exploring the wonders of WA.
